Accept Personal Responsibility and Build Consistent Self Discipline.
Boring AF?
YEP...
If it was easy everyone would do it and it is in Action! that creates the separation.

Not enough... turns into NEVER enough...
If it's not enough to get out of bed and take the 20 minutes to move around the block........ even 100 miles wouldn't be enough to satisfy the craving in your head that says WE are not enough.
Maybe instead of focusing on all the external reasons to do or not to do....
Maybe look inside and discover all the reasons we ARE ENOUGH to do what's best for us and to undo what is unhealthy and unsatisfying for our future self.

Communication- All humans want love and attention in a way they understand. They want to be seen, heard, and affirmed.
Confidence- Learning to trust yourself begins with simply doing what you say you're going to do. Observing what people say while watching what they do allows for trust to be built when words and actions align.
Self Care- Your Emotional Energy Battery is your fuel source for thinking, doing, and feeling. Without internal energy, there will be no external energy to give.

How will you grow forward?
Mindset Conditioning is the process of calm 'state' training to build personal power of one's thoughts, behaviors, and emotions. The purpose is to build confidence through empowerment over one's choices and provide more desired mindset and behavioral responses toward predesigned goals.

All in...
Let go...
It's always as the story goes...
Sometimes you win.
Sometimes you learn.
And the best growth comes after you get burned.
They might say to give up.
Others might offer to give in.
But in the end, it's up to you to decide just how you'll win.
Who would have known how a thought could turn into a plan, mixed with assertive action, a lot of blind faith, a bit of luck to close the deal...
When times get hard as they are sure to be, remember one simple thing... keep your head up and feet moving forward because the hill doesn't last forever and soon you'll discover a new burst of energy from the Sunshine within.

I wish I had something positive and motivational to say, but the reality is some days you just have to lace up your shoes and hit the road.
It has been nearly 6 months since I took a running step and I totaled somewhere around 30 running miles in 2021.
I am stoked to have kept my fitness and health over the past couple years... which I am forever grateful for. Building solid daily disciplines is the greatest gift I've ever received from my journey.
To be able to step out the door, not knowing what a "run" would look like has been daunting to say the least.
The constant comparison of the past...
-Fast marathons...
-Rocking 50ks & 50 milers back to back...
-25 hour 100 milers...
-100 miles on a MTB...
No matter what today is or where you've been yesterday and for what ever is to come in all your tomorrows remember one simple thing...
When times get hard as they are sure to be remember one simple thing. Keep your head up and feet moving forward because the hill doesn't last forever.
"The One Mile Rule"
-Focus on the 3ft in front of you
-Do the best you can for 30 seconds
-Finish the mile you're in
*Repeat
*Repeat
*Repeat
Next thing you know you'll look back and be surprised at how far you come and how much stronger you can continue to be.

Please let me reintroduce myself… if you have followed along for a long time, there are definitely some things that have changed.
My name is Gary Stotler. About 6 years ago I stepped on the scale at 400 pounds. I knew I was on a fast track to a heart attack by the age of 35… I didn’t know what to do or how to do it so I took a walk around the block and learned to portion control my food.
A year later, after taking consistent action and continuing to grow a little more every day, I lost over 100 pounds. I slowly started running a block at a time with small continuous growth in time a distance, I ran my first marathon about 2 years into my journey.
Having lost nearly 200 pounds and running a marathon, I decided to see if I could find my personal limits. Growing into an ultra-runner with a 50k, then a 50 miler and as I finished my first 100-mile race 4 years to the week of stepping on the scale at 400 pounds…
