We are honored to welcome internationally celebrated Yin & Dharma teacher for a deeply immersive Yin & Restorative Yoga Teacher Training exploring the Five Elements through the lens of Traditional Chinese Medicine.

This is an invitation to slow down, turn inward, and reconnect with the subtle language of the body, the wisdom of the nervous system, and the inner landscape of the Self.

Blending Yin Yoga, Restorative Yoga, Buddhist psychology, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and functional anatomy, this training weaves together outer structure and inner inquiry.

Each day is devoted to one of the Five Elements — Earth, Water, Fire, Metal, and Wood — explored through posture clinics, meridian theory, energetics, contemplative practice, and the science of rest.

Together in Sangha (spiritual community), we’ll explore:

✨ Trauma-sensitive approaches
✨ Joint stability & tissue resiliency
✨ Functional, embodied anatomy
✨ Restorative sequencing & the neuro-immunologic importance of rest
✨ Psychological self-inquiry grounded in Buddhist practice

Kali Basman’s work bridges the worlds of anatomy, TCM, Dharma, and trauma healing, honoring the lineage of teachers who have shaped modern Yin and contemplative practice while offering profoundly relevant tools for today’s world.

Hosted in collaboration with .yoga and .denver , this training is open to yoga teachers, bodyworkers, healers, therapists, and dedicated students ready to explore the meeting place of stillness, structure, and spirit.

🌟 Week 1 of .yoga | 200 Hour YTT .denver was a huge success! 🌟

We dove deep right from the start — entering the sacred classroom as individuals and emerging as part of a greater whole. We set up the conditions, we showed up with open hearts, and guess what? The magic is already happening. ✨

🔥❄️ “HERE I AM.” ❄️🔥

Beneath the vast Colorado sky, wrapped in a wool blanket, barefoot on frozen earth, Jonathan sat at the threshold of self-realization—and we witnessed something rare: a soul proclaiming its truth not with words alone, but with presence.

At our final retreat for Hineni Yoga School’s 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training, we entered the crucible at - Guided by the stoic grace of , we submerged not only our bodies, but our patterns—our stress, our stories, our old identities—into the cold.

And from that ice, Jonathan emerged - himself!

With body as his anchor, stillness as his strength, and wind in his sails, Jonathan didn’t fight the cold. He greeted it. And in that greeting, he whispered not just to the mountain air—but to Life itself:

“This is who I am.
HERE I AM.
Hineni.”

From Jonathan’s beautiful poem:

“I am the beginning…
Of your favorite story…
The sun shining down on your face,
hands held high breathing deeply for the first time.”

Jonathan’s words are a love letter to all that we are—wild, tender, fierce, free. A warrior and a waterfall. A tornado and a stream. A human being choosing to show up, over and over again.

Hineni doesn’t mean perfect. It means present.

It means showing up anyway. Especially when it’s hard. Especially when it’s cold.
