🌟Meet our October Barre Star April G!🌟

April’s incredible commitment to barre has caught the eye of our entire team, and we all agreed she deserves this spotlight! She is a staple in our late-afternoon and evening classes, and is always putting in 100% 💪🥂

Why does she love Pivot? The neighborhood convenience makes it easy to show up, but it’s the instructors energy and the challenge that keeps her hooked. As April says, it never gets easier—and that’s exactly why she loves it!

Get to know April
💪 Love to Hate Move: Pretzel all day long 🥨
🧠 First-Timer Tip: “Start with the small weights. Even if you lift, it’s a very different burn!”

We love you April 🩵

✨SEPTEMBER STAFF FEATURE✨

Meet another one of the amazing faces behind Pivot Barre! This month, we’re celebrating our lovely front desk gal McKenzie, and we couldn’t be luckier to have her on our team!! 🩵

👉 How did you find Pivot? “My friend Alex found Pivot after trying a few different workouts and fell in love. She invited me to come along, and I hooked instantly! It became our favorite way to spend time together and try something new.”

👉 What do you love most about the Pivot community? “The personableness! After my very first class, Gracie and Tori greeted me by name. Feeling remembered and welcomed right away was so special. Everything here feels intentional and meaningful.”

👉 Current obsessions? “I am obsessed with Survivor! To keep myself from binge-watching it at home, I have a rule that I can only watch it when I do cardio. 🏃‍♀️ I’m also learning how to sew and hope to rework my entire closet eventually!”

👉 The perfect free Saturday looks like...Starting with a workout, heading to a live concert, and ending the night snuggling with my cats. 🐈‍⬛ (Or just a full day at home crafting with the cats—both are ideal!)

We love you, McKenzie!! 🩵👯‍♀️

⭐️ September Barre Star Spotlight! ⭐️ Jennifer Ann

Please join us in celebrating our incredible September Barre Star Jennie!! 🌟

✨ The Journey: Her first class was in summer 2019 with Sarah Stabio. She keeps coming back for the mental and physical challenge, the way it balances her running and race training, and our amazing community!

💪 The Growth: She’s mastered the art of intentional posture (shoulders away from the ears!) and now crushes all her push-ups on her toes.

🔥 Favorite Move: The active fold-over, because it makes her feel powerful and graceful all at once.

❤️ A True Warrior: She is a two-time open-heart surgery survivor (as a toddler and in 2020). During her 2020 recovery, barre and our instructor modifications were instrumental in helping her rebuild her strength. Talk about resilience!

📣 Special Shoutout: When she told her daughter Addie about being the Barre Star, Addie asked if she could be “in the news” too. So, a massive shoutout to Addie, our official co-star this month! 😉

Thank you for being such a beautiful, powerful part of our community. We are so grateful for you! 🩵

✨Our August Staff Feature: Ana Maria !!✨

Say hello to one of our favorite familiar faces, Ana M, who joined the Pivot staff team in April 2025 and never looked back!

After working solo in her own therapy practice, she wanted a role filled with more human connection, and transitioning from an awesome Pivot member to a staff member was the perfect fit‼️

Here is a little more about her:
✨ Favorite part of the job: Meeting new people and trying out all the different class styles and instructors. 👯‍♀️

✨ Why she loves the Pivot community: The laughter! She loves that we can give a killer workout while still being silly and having a blast. 🤪

✨ Perfect day off: Kayaking with friends at Chatfield, a beach picnic, and being in bed by 9:00 PM. 🛏️

✨ Secret talent: She plays the ukulele! (Well, she plays the exact same 5 songs every few months to make sure she’s still got it before hiding it away again lol). 🎶

Next time you see her at the front desk, make sure to say hi! We are so lucky to have her on our team. 🩵

Meet our Barre Star of the Month! 🌟 Anya Dushinski 🌟

From discovering Pivot on ClassPass to crushing our 7 AM classes for over a year, she is the ultimate definition of dedication. 🌅💪 She uses barre to cross-train for backpacking and skiing, loves a good gold-star challenge, and is spending the rest of her summer hitting the trails in RMNP and Steamboat.

Fun fact: when she’s not crushing it in class, she’s working on needlepoint crafts and scrapbooks! 🧵✨

We are so lucky to have you in our community! Help us celebrate her in the comments! 🫶🎉

Our July Barre Star:

Meet our Barre Star! 💛 She’ll be celebrating one year at Pivot in August and recently crushed her 100th class!🎉

Her favorite class? Sculpt (especially with !) for the perfect mix of cardio and barre. When she’s not in the studio, you’ll find her soaking up the sun at Wash Park, exploring Denver’s restaurant scene, or checking another country off her travel bucket list. 🌎☀️

Her advice for anyone thinking about trying barre: Don’t be intimidated! Our instructors and community are here to help every step of the way. 💕

And if you ever catch her at karaoke, just know she’ll be singing Neon Moon by Brooks & Dunn. 🎤🤠

We love you Kelsey! 👏💛
