Denver Roller Derby Colorado's premier roller derby league! Currently ranked 2nd in WFTDA NA West. We are proud to have an excellent men’s team, Ground Control, as a brother league.

Denver Roller Derby is comprised of skaters, coaches, officials, and other volunteers, and is a skater-owned and operated non-profit organization. We are dedicated to our sport and our community, and we pride ourselves as a welcoming place for all individuals looking for a place to skate, officiate our sport, or enjoy watching some of the best roller derby in the world. We host three travel teams: the nationally ranked Mile High Club (A-Team), Bruising Altitude (B-Team), and the Standbys (C-Team). They are the only men's flat track derby league in the Denver metro area and they train and recruit some of the some of the strongest athletes on the track. We also have home teams, who challenge each other every season for the ultimate prize in Colorado roller derby: the DRD League Championship! In addition to all that, we’re busy training the next generation of elite roller derby skaters! Our Junior team, Major Turbulence, are trained by league veterans and are full members of the Junior Roller Derby Association. In fact, many of our Travel Team and Home Team skaters are “aged-up” former Juniors from Major Turbulence. Our success is a direct result of the support our sponsors, fans, and volunteers show every day. Thank you for your love and support! Interested in scheduling a game with any of our teams? Today, the No On 134/135 campaign is asking us to go ALL OUT to protect the bodily autonomy and rights of children across our state! Propositions 134 + 135 target trans youth, attacking their access to school-sponsored sports and gender-affirming healthcare. Come out today and let everyone know that Colorado protects ALL its kids!

The day will kick off with a group canvass launching from the State Capitol at noon, followed by a rally back at the Capitol from 2-4 PM featuring special guest speakers, and ending the day with the ALL OUT benefit show at D3 Arts in Denver’s Westwood neighborhood, featuring local q***r and trans musicians.

The full timeline of the day's events:

11:30 AM - Meet at capitol
12:00 PM - Canvass launch
1:30 PM - Meet back at capitol
2:00 PM - Rally starts
4:00 PM - Rally ends
6:00 PM - Doors open for the ALL OUT benefit show at D3 Arts (3632 Morrison Rd, Denver)
7:00 PM - Show starts and will end between 10 and 11

Families Not Politics is a grassroots campaign aimed at protecting Colorado kids and defeating harmful anti-trans measures on the ballot this November.

We believe the not-so-radical idea that families — not politicians — should have the freedom to decide what is best for them and their kids. That’s why we are saying to vote no on propositions 134 and 135 which would prevent transgender children from participating in school sports and receiving gender-related surgeries.

To support this crucial fight for trans rights, visit the Families Not Politics table at our Denver Roller Derby - October Double Header today or visit https://familiesnotpolitics.com for ways to get involved!
