The odds of an ace on a par 4 sit at roughly 1 in 6,000,000.

The odds of doing it on freshly punched greens while your wife could go into labor at any second? Off the charts.

On Hole 6 at City Park, pulled driver on the 317-yard par 4 and unleashed a missile. Up on the green, the group ahead was in the middle of putting out when they heard incoming fire, scrambled out of the line of flight, and watched Dan’s ball dodge aeration holes like a Plinko board before tracking straight into the bottom of the cup.

An albatross ace. On freshly aerated greens.

Peak dad strength unlocked right at the buzzer. Massive congratulations to Dan, and special thoughts to , who is officially on baby watch and now has to hear this story every single day for the rest of her life.
