Been working on the mind a lot over the past few years. You can work the body all you want, you will break if the foundation of the mind is built in sand. Just like with performance, you can’t add load to a structure with a shotty foundation or it will break. Reinforce your mind as you build the body. Everything works in unison as the mind and body are mirrors of eachother. Always remember, work+rest= success✊

🎙️ Excited to return to my Alma Mater, Illinois State, as a guest speaker for the Exercise Science Club! 🏋️‍♂️ It’s an honor to share my journey and insights with the future professionals in the field. Reflecting on how far I’ve come since 2013, from those early days of uncertainty to where I stand today, fills me with immense gratitude. Every challenge, every triumph has shaped me. Thankful for the growth and excited for what lies ahead. 🙏💫

Stoked for the most recent graduate of the VibeFreq foundational cut program! He crushed it with 27lbs lost while breaking his previous strength plateau! Life didn’t stop either. Cross country move, covid, engagement, learning to drive and many more obstacles tried to derail him. We constantly strategized and recalibrated and learned to “run the play” for each complex situation. At VibeFreq we know that caring for the caregiver(You!) first is how we prioritize ourselves to then optimize how we interact in the world.

If you want to skip the guess work and learn to take your performance to the next level, schedule your 30minute strategy call to join my clients and I at VibeFreq Human Performance where we are changing the game of Human Performance utilizing the four pillars of health: Mindset, Nutrition, Movement, and Recovery. We leave no stone unturned in learning to become a VibeFreq to Vibrate at our Frequency.

Self Love (Discipline) of the mind, body, and spirit is the foundation of achieving vitality . Whatever way you S.L.I.C.E it: Salvation Lies In Consistent Effort💪🙏
12 weeks to Halloween. Become hard to kill with a 12 week VibeFreq program✊

Getting back at it! Being the coach I am, I can respect the angles at first glace. If we look closely, the shin angle of the front leg is slightly over extended.
This should be parallel in relation the the back leg.
Positives: arm action, triple extension of the back leg (ankle, knee, hip), knee “punching through a pane of glass”, and doing a decent job of “staying in the tunnel”.
In this case, the overextension could be caused by a weak hamstring. This could lead to injury due to the fact that reaching causes the hamstring to have to take more of the load due to the athlete having to slightly “pull” themselves forward vs. “driving” forward. And at top speed the foot reaching can also pull the hamstring. (Yeah done that before, L leg) We would want the leg landing right under the body. For me though (posterior chain dominant) Im gonna chalk this up to being away from home for too long. Time to get on some nordic hams and/or eccentrics into the program just in case. Grateful for the opportunities that led me here. We getting back at it quick🙌🏻💪🏻☯️

Glad to be back at a consistent training program after my September motorcycle accident. Slowly working my way up on deadlifts. Here is 345 for a double! Come a long way and ready for the rest of the journey. In training, setback are inevitable. Whether its the flu or an injury or god forbid a family emergency. All that matters is that you get up and get back to the grind. We all gonna make it💪🏻Thank you for the awesome program🤙🏻
