CBS Sports is predicting a monster first season in Denver for Jaylen Waddle: at least 130 receptions in 2026.

The Broncos traded a first-round pick for Waddle, giving Sean Payton an explosive new centerpiece for his passing attack. Payton has already coached Michael Thomas to an NFL-record 149 catches in 2019.

Now the prediction is that Waddle becomes his next high-volume star and challenges some of the biggest receiving numbers in the league.

When heavy passing downs demanded raw edge pressure in 2025, Nik Bonitto continually blew up ex*****on for opposing offensive lines.

Explosive quickness off the snap mixed with relentless power allowed him to collapse pocket depth repeatedly, setting the pace for Denver with 14.0 sacks on the season.

Bonitto’s high-octane motor set a fierce baseline in the trenches, sparking the entire front seven in high-stakes moments week in and week out.

Will Bonitto shatter the double-digit mark again in 2026, or can a secondary rusher emerge to steal the crown? 🔮

Drafted 20th overall back in 2017, Garett Bolles walked into Denver with high expectations and immediately took on the duty of protecting the franchise's blind side. 🏈

Early growing pains tested his durability, but years of work turned him into the foundational anchor of the entire offensive line. ⚡

Fast forward to the present, and the longest-tenured Denver Broncos is coming off a First-Team All-Pro campaign after posting the lowest pressure rate in the NFL and climbing into the league's top 50 players. 📈

Denver enters its 2026 title defense with superstar signal-caller Bo Nix taking the helm as the Denver Broncos aim to capture the ultimate prize under head coach Sean Payton.

Coming off a stellar 2025 campaign where he amassed over 4,200 combined yards and 30 total touchdowns while propelling the Broncos to 14 wins and the AFC’s No. 1 seed, the third-year quarterback returns fully healthy to steer Denver’s high-octane offense.

How he helps the team shows in operating Sean Payton’s system with pinpoint ex*****on, distributing high-velocity throws into tight secondary windows to keep drives moving.

Escaping broken pockets with poised scrambling athleticism allows him to create dynamic off-script plays and extend scoring drives downfield.

Sharpening pre-snap checks and situational timing throughout summer practice reps reinforces Bo Nix as the central catalyst for Denver’s Super Bowl pursuit 🐴🟧⚡️
