📣 Senior spotlight 📣 Altay Sonmez has been part of our wrestling program for 3 years. He is a multi sport athlete with grit and never gives up! Altay is dedicated and has learned many lessons wrestling. His favorite memory was wrestling at the KC stampede Junior Year and his very first Pin 🧷! We wish Altay well as he continues his education at MSU to study graphic design!

It was a great day for chaparral wrestling! Taking 2nd at League with some outstanding wrestling! Way to go guys!

📣Senior Spotlight 📣 Kegan Swain began wrestling at 5 years old. Kegan is a multi sport athlete who not only maintains excellent academics, but is also a leader in our room. His success on the mat earned him 5th place at state as a freshman, state qualifier as a sophomore- blood round finisher. He has committed to Adams State to play lacrosse in the fall. We wish you all the best Kegan! finish 💪 strong!

Senior spotlight 📣 Cole began wrestling in the 5th grade! He currently fills our heavyweight spot and is a force on the mat! It was exciting to see him qualify for state last year! He has had many successes and we know he will finish the season strong. We are looking forward to watching him at the next level as he aspires to wrestle at a Midwest college in the fall.
