This is recreation.

It doesn’t ask how fast you are,
how big you are,
where you come from,
or what your family can afford.

It asks one thing: do you want to play?
If the answer is yes, there’s a place for you.

Not every child is a quarterback.
Some are goalkeepers.
Some are point guards.
Some are the kid who has never caught anything in his life and finally catches one, and the whole field cheers like it’s the championship.
There is a ball for every hand and a game for every heart.

We’ve let too many kids sit on the sidelines. Screens took the place of sunlight.
Budget cuts closed the fields.
Some kids got told, out loud or not, that sports weren’t for them.
That’s wrong, and we can fix it.

At the National Academy of Athletics, we believe recreation isn’t extra. It’s essential. We’re committed to building healthy bodies, with strong lungs, steady legs, and energy that lasts. And we’re just as committed to building healthy hearts: kids who know how to lose with grace, win with humility, pick a teammate up, and come back tomorrow.
Because the scoreboard fades, but the kid who learned he matters doesn’t.
So, here’s the football.
And the dodgeball.
Pickleball, too.

For every kid - from the kid who’s never played to the kid who never stops.
Open the gates and fill the fields.
There’s something for everyone.
Let’s go play hard.
And have some fun.

Colorado just raised a record $7.2 million for youth sports. 🙌 The third annual Colorado Youth Sports Giving Day (Sept 1-15) brought in 4,400 donations for 349 nonprofits working to get more kids in the game. That's a lot of neighbors saying what we believe at NAofA Front Range: every kid deserves the chance to play, no matter their zip code or skill level. Cheers to every family, coach, and organization that showed up for Colorado kids this fall. Broomfield ballers, this one's for you! 🏀 Registration is OPEN for our Jr. Skill Basketball Development Camp at Broomfield Community Center, run in partnership with Broomfield Parks and Rec. K-2nd graders play Tuesdays, 3rd-8th grade groups play Mon/Wed, October 6 through November 17, 4:15-7:30pm. Basketball registration is officially open in Arvada. 🏀

Next Level Hoopers Skills Academy with Apex Park & Recreation District — eight Sundays, October 25 through December 20, at 13150 W. 72nd Ave.

Here's the setup:
• Grades 2-8 (ages 7-14)
• Two 90-minute sessions each Sunday, split by age group
• Ball handling, shooting, defense, footwork, and real games every session
• No tryouts, no bench, no travel schedule

It's indoor, it's on Sundays, and it runs straight through the stretch of winter when kids start climbing the walls. Registration opened Monday and Sunday programs tend to fill first. Play Hard. Have Fun.
