I'll be teaching at Green Light on South Pearl, Wednesdays at 8:30 am. It's a gorgeous space with good vibes! I'll also be there to offer healing sessions after class and sometimes at other times, too. 🤗
Honey Hatha and Meditation:
This is a show and intentional class that will wake up your body and mind and get you ready for the day. We will warm up, work on core and pelvic floor engagement, find some longer holds to work and stretch larger muscle groups, find breath that supports our movement and meditate together before our final relaxation. This class is slow and intentional, and appropriate for all bodies, including pregnant, mature and injured bodies (with doctor's approval).

This is a really interesting article, especially since so many are working from home and trying to create a healthy work environment.
If you want to skip the article, the takeaway is that so far studies show risk to the spine without many benefits. Getting up and moving around, changing out your seat and standing for periods of the day are more beneficial. Take a yoga break.
You might want to rethink using a stability ball as your desk chair
Sitting on this unstable surface won’t strengthen your core or torch calories.
