Car is back from sandblasting, time to start seam welding the underbody! Thanks again to for knocking this V1 cage out of the park. I bought this cage almost 2 years ago in November of 2019 with the plans to install it in the coupe and progress on the rally build, but when COVID hit we had to just survive. But 2 years later we got it all finished up and couldn't be happier.

All thats left is to install harness bars as well as all required and non-required gussets!

Some more progress updates on the GC rally car build. Front end is hacked off and getting squared up. Went with a tube front end plate kit that will make it removable as well.

taking advantage of the access and getting the strut tops and cage tie in points plated up. Appreciate all the attention to detail he has put in on the car.

Hoping we round the corner on the cage in the next few weeks, then we can start putting it all back together.

simulator 583 Racing

Team 583 is a Colorado based Rally Team that will be competing in the American Rally Association and California Rally Series. It consists of 3 drivers, 1 codriver, WE ARE LOOKING FOR 2 CODRIVERS IF YOU KNOW ANYONE SEND A RESUME, and a handful of support mechanics and fabricators. Our focus is to get on stage, have fun and grow the sport of Rally in America.

2021 will be our inaugural season competing in the Western Regional ARA Series and California Rally Series.

Woohoo! New windshield installed! Thanks a lot to our local windshield shop Mountain Aire Glass for the quick install. Great folks and an awesome local small business. One step closer to getting this out the door! New crank sprocket and rear dust shields come in this week and then just need to bleed the brakes and then it should be time to tune!
