PUSH GYM is locally owned by a physical therapist. We offer small group fitness & personal training, specializing in high intensity interval training.

Group fitness has been around for a long time though old-school Jazzercise is a far cry from today’s HIIT classes, especially at PUSH where we do far more dynamic movements with a variety of weights. We have been offering small group HIIT classes at PUSH for over 10 years and we are REALLY good at it. There are several other gyms - large and small - that have popped up over the years trying to rec

For more than 15 years, PUSH has been a consistent part of Marilyn's active Colorado lifestyle.

From skiing and hiking to salsa dancing and pickleball, she loves staying active — but what keeps her coming back to PUSH is the community, encouragement, and comfort of a place where she truly feels like she belongs.

Not every fitness journey is linear, and that’s exactly what makes Devin Gilhuly’s story so powerful.

From rebuilding strength after medical training to coming back from multiple serious injuries, Devin’s path is a testament to resilience, consistency, and the right support system. Today, he’s training for the Boulder Triathlon, something that once felt out of reach.

See how he did it (and what kept him going) in our latest Client Spotlight.

We’re excited to introduce the newest addition to the PUSH Gym team—David Holaday.

Originally from New Hampshire and later the Twin Cities, David brings an athletic background rooted in gymnastics and diving, disciplines he still practices today. That foundation shows up in an approach built around strength, control, and movement quality.

For David, the gym has always been more than a place to train; it’s a place to reset, refocus, and build something consistent over time. That mindset led him to personal training, where he connects deeply with the values that define PUSH: consistency, discipline, and determination.

Say hi and welcome him to PUSH when you see him!

One day I’m 18, finishing high school without any plans for life, and now I’m 60 and find myself looking back at 32 years as a physical therapist and 22 years as a small business owner. How did that happen? I am living a strong, healthy and happy life. I have a great family with so many good friends, young and old.

When I was 20 and directionless, I met a career counselor who helped guide me to the fitness world. My only real requirement back then? I didn’t want to wear a suit and tie. In 1986, the world still dressed a bit more conservatively and that was a thing. Now, I own a gym and wear shorts and a tee shirt virtually every day.

Being in the health and fitness world has helped me stay young, along with good genes. I am blessed and very thankful for all that has been passed down to me. I eat well (not perfect), I sleep well (mostly), but I work consistently to stay healthy and positive.

I have preached for so long that News Year’s resolutions are stupid – why not start today or tomorrow? I have always seemed to live this way; working on the smaller goals every day and resetting as I go along, focusing on the positive instead of the negative. Habits are formed over time, so make them good ones (and replace the bad ones with the good).

Thank you to my friends, family, and the community that’s grown around this gym and made it so special. 60 years later, still learning, still moving… and still not wearing a suit.
