Cub Scout Pack 500 Cub Scouting is fun! No matter what grade you are in, kindergarten through fifth, it can be a blast. Do you like to learn by doing? Hiked?
This is just the place. You can learn to tie knots, set up a tent, or shoot a bow and arrow (archery). Have you ever cooked a meal on a campfire? Sent a secret code to a buddy? Built a birdhouse? Earn rewards for doing these things in Cub Scouts. Cub Scouts Belong to Packs and Dens
As a Cub Scout, you will be part of your own pack. The pack is divided into smaller groups called dens. Each den has

The Pack was taking advantage of the great weather doing a little spring clean up in downtown Lancaster today. Filling a bunch jf big garbage bags in just an hour Thank you to all who helped, and thank you to anyone who might have been paused in traffic during our large group using a crosswalk or two 🙂. We are always trying to find ways to make a difference. Today was Duty to Country.

The pack had a visit from officer Sal from the NYS DEC. What a fun night learning about conservation. A big thank you to Mr. Nick for organizing a great visit from our friends at the DEC.

There’s nothing better than seeing great leaders get the recognition they deserve. Tonight, Cyle Pollutro received the Cubscouter of the Year award given for being an outstanding leader and increasing our pack’s enrollment. Bryan Pitisi received the Power Paddler award recognizing all of his hard work and dedication to the pack. Nick Stern earned his Cub Master Key award for being a Cub Master for three years. Dan Wodarczak received his Den Leader Knot. Cyle, Bryan, Dan and Nick also received Scouters Training Award. Please join me in congratulating them.

I know we don’t post often, but pack 500 is alive and well. 40 cubs strong, racing their derby cars yesterday. What an amazing turn out for our outlaw race and our cub races!!!
Thank you to Mr Dan for hooking us up with the virtual meeting tonight. When the snow blows and schools are out we were still able to learn some STEM skills using CodeMonkey.com
