#7 and #21 for me...
It still blows my mind that some people believe more is better. After 2 hours , they feel need to go home and run or hop on the treadmill - for just another 20 minutes...
Too much training—especially without enough recovery—can actually work against muscle growth.
When you train, you create stress and microscopic damage in muscle tissue. Your body needs recovery, protein, sleep, and adequate calories to repair that tissue and build it back stronger. If training stress repeatedly exceeds your ability to recover, you can see persistent soreness, declining performance, fatigue, reduced strength, and increased injury risk. In more severe or prolonged cases, muscle protein breakdown can outpace rebuilding.
That’s why 45–60 minutes of focused strength training can be more productive than spending 2–3 hours in the gym. More exercise isn’t automatically more results—the right training + recovery = progress. 💪
And #21 - well, with thighs like mine- strong beats skinny every time. Strong legs to carry me into the next 50
Years of life.
