This morning, Sage and I sat down to do some art. I’ve never drawn a portrait before. I just started drawing. I kept going until there she was, sitting right in front of me.

I didn’t use a reference, I did have someone in my mind that I was thinking of.

I just drew her, and when I finished that’s the first time I saw her. Like we were meeting for the first time.

I wondered what her deal was. She seemed sad. Tired and sad. Almost like she was holding back.

The words are a representation of her inner world, whoever she is.

Inspiration is so weird and so is art and so am I.

I struggle with my body image. So sometimes you just gotta flip that $h!t upside down. It’s not about what my body looks like or what or weighs on the scale. I have to appreciate my body for all that it is and what it can do!
