As the dust settles and trailers pull back into their home driveways, we can’t help but reflect on how great of a week we had. We would like to thank everyone who played a part in making this week such a success! Everyone from our sponsors, Mia Bayer and Chance Ujazdowski and the rest of the ASA/AJSA crew, our group of Iowa volunteers, to everyone else that pitched in throughout the week. Lastly, thank you to all of the exhibitors and families that make it all worth it. This was the biggest gathering of Simmental enthusiasts and cattle to date and we can’t wait to see where this great breed heads in the future. We will see everyone next year in Tulsa, Oklahoma!

🚨Junior and Senior Sales Talk Contestants🚨

You will check in and stage at the tent next to the show ring. Make sure you got to the side for your age division! At your group time, you will go into the show ring to give your sales talk.

🚨Intermediate Sales Talk Contestants🚨

You will do your sales talk in the OutDoor Covered Arena where the judging contest was held. Check-in at this table. Feel free to come early- We have plenty of staging room!

🚨Attention Steer Exhibitors🚨

Steer weigh ins will begin at 10am at the chute located in between the Swine Barn and the Cattle Barn!

Good Morning!

Check-Ins are underway! When your group is called, head over to the Youth Inn just to the West of the Cattle Barn and enter in the south door.

Simmental Exhibitors- Things are about to get WILD because volleyball is OPEN NOW🏐

We are excited to host our final event of the summer with all of you in Des Moines! Get your teams together and make sure to bring your A game🐊

Each player will receive a FREE SCO T-shirt!

These rules apply when you enter⬇️

6 players per team.
Individuals or partial teams may sign up and be placed on another team!
Teams must be comprised of the following ages:
-13 and under: 3 or more players.
-14+: No more than 3 players. Adults may be included.
** Ages will be enforced!

Take a look at this map as you enter the fairgrounds. There will be someone at Gate 2 to direct you as all other gates will be closed!

Attention all State Royalty - if you would like to bring your crowns and sashes to Des Moines we have a couple of opportunities for you. First, we will have a “Meet and Greet” at 2:30 on Sunday, in the South Annex (near hospitality). 2nd, if you would like to help in the ring during the show we would love to have you join us.
