League ended early tonight (rain, rain, & lightning go away!) but the good times kept going!

So excited to have another social event out at to celebrate our community. Looking forward to picking league back up next week!

Central Iowa Ultimate is hosting our summer social after league this Wednesday 6/10. All are welcome; We hope you'll join us for appetizers and community to celebrate the start of the Summer season!

This past weekend Central Iowa Ultimate hosted four high school programs to compete in our high school state tournament. We are incredibly grateful for our volunteers, parents, and all spectators coming out to support these athletes. Central Iowa Ultimate looks forward to supporting these programs and those to come!

Congrats to the black team for a hard fought season winning our spring league on universe 😱 thanks to all our players and big thank you to our volunteer captains. Can’t wait until we’re back out for summer league in June!!

Another two team feature tonight! First off Team White who was jazzed to be together to celebrate their teammates Niko's birthday. Team Red says that they are undefeated in their hearts. It was a cool and breezy day this week - playoffs start next week, we can't believe only two weeks left of spring league!

Spirit of the Plains is back for 2026! We are so excited to be returning to Cownie Soccer Park in Des Moines, IA to host teams from all 3 divisions.

This will be an unsanctioned tournament June 6th and 7th. Registration is live on centraliowaultimate.com

This week we're featuring the Yellow and Blue team in our spring leagues! Yellow team has a wonderful mellow vibe and is enjoying their season together. Blue team is believed to have the oldest average age in the league (Shoutout 80/35 mixed masters!). We were happy to have a sunny yet cool day out for our games yesterday. Looking forward to next Wednesday!

Summer League Registration is live! We are so excited to be offering Open league on Monday nights starting June 1st and Mixed league on Wednesday nights starting June 3rd.
