The next Iowa State Fair auction is here! Friends, a lot of you asked about stall panels from the Horse barn - lots to choose from here! You can search "stall" to see the lots. Looks like the old theater/stadium seats stored in the lofts are also available. Enjoy! 🎪🐴🤩
We are looking forward to this evolution as our beloved Horse Barn enters its next century of serving the equestrian community. Exciting things ahead!

HEAT ADVISORY
In effect from noon to 8pm. Stay hydrated and be on alert for signs of heat exhaustion or heat stroke. You can call 911 to report an emergency on the fairgrounds, tell the dispatcher you are at the Iowa state Fair and your call will be routed to the Fair emergency dispatcher. The direct line to emergency services is (515) 262-3931.
CLYDESDALE/PERCHERON SIX-HORSE HITCH HEAT ASSIGNMENTS
EXHIBITOR & DRIVERS MEETING UPDATE
Clydesdale Exhibitors: our meeting will be as scheduled (Thursday, 12:15pm) in the warmup arena. This will be a logistics and Q&A meeting only, as we will conduct the six-horse hitch classes random heat draws separately at 1:30pm in the warmup arena. Only one driver or representative is needed for the heat draws.
Percheron Exhibitors: Your welcome luncheon is scheduled for Noon today, and this conflicts with our normal 12:15 meeting. We will come to YOU at your luncheon around 12:30pm to update you and conduct the Q&A. We will conduct the six-horse hitch classes random heat draws with you and the Clyde’s at 1:30pm in the warmup. Please send only one driver or representative. Thanks!

NOON - Thursday - Cattle Auction Ring
Walk through the main Cattle Barn doors located here, and continue straight inside until you hit the doors for the auction ring

Hello Exhibitors! We've had a great show so far. We have a lot of turnover in the next few days. PLEASE REFER TO LINK BELOW FOR THE BARN SCHEDULE. ⏰
UNLESS you have made specific arrangements with Show Staff, the move-in/move-out times are as follows:
🐎Belgian, Shire, and Miniature Exhibitors finish showing tomorrow evening. Please note, you must be out by 6 AM Wednesday.
🎩 Society Exhibitors - you may arrive after 10 AM Tuesday.
🐴Percheron, Clydesdale, and Draft Pony - may arrive after 2 PM on Wednesday.
