Itās pride and this bisexual is tired.
I regularly find myself reflecting on what I want to share on social media and why. Recently, Iāve found myself reading statements of LGBTQ+ support from other businesses and actually getting annoyed. Iām sick of the virtue signaling. Iām sick of the same posts going around naming the same 7 businesses over and over as allies while simultaneously doing nothing to recognize businesses that are actually owned by q***r folks. Iām sick of the social media performative activism. Itās the exact same language copy + pasted again and again, with no proof that theyāve ever done anything to back their words up with tangible support. If youāve only ever mentioned or thought of q***r and trans people during June then please just save your breath. Iām tired. Weāre all tired.
I do think itās important to be clear and upfront about what your values are. But I hope that I have built a business where my values come across not through empty words on a post but through the actual actions that I take day in and day out as both a business owner and a regular human being existing in the world.
If you are q***r, I hope this month is one of joy and rest. I hope this month is one of connection and feeling at peace in your daily life. I hope itās one of safety. I hope you find spaces that were created with you specifically in mind, not as an afterthought. You deserve more than a blanket ālove is loveā statement made once a year. You deserve the whole damn world.

Weāre excited to announce a new 4-week Baby + Me Postpartum Movement Series!
This series is best for those seeking to return to exercise after giving birth. This course will start with a foundation of breath work and mobility and build in strengthening week by week. Classes will include mat work, baby wearing, functional movements, and light strength training.
Things to bring: yoga mat, water bottle, baby and wrap/carrier. Please obtain exercise clearance from your medical provider prior to the beginning of the series.
This course is taught by our trainer Jaime, who is also a physical therapist specialized in pelvic health with additional training in prenatal and postpartum exercise.
Cost: $150 for the 4 weeks (reach out if price is a barrier!)
Date + time: June 5-26th, 10-10:45am

Look, hereās the deal. We know itās hard to stay consistent with your workouts over the summer. Youāre outside, youāre more active, youāre hanging out, youāre traveling, youāre living your best life outside of the gym. We know (and we love this for you).
We also know that the best time to build habits and consistency is actually when youāre the busiest.
Enter: the summer membership. 10-weeks for $175. This membership allows you to take any 2 classes each week. Thatās 20 total classes over 10 weeks for $175 (thatās $8.75/class!!!). Itās limited to 2 classes per week because the goal here is to build consistency rather than all-or-nothing. And yes, you can absolutely make progress with 2 hours each week!

Interested in strength training but not sure where to start? Start with this! This 4-week series will introduce you to the big 3 barbell lifts (squat, bench, deadlift), as well as other foundational strength exercises. Each week we will break down safety, set-up, form, and even smart programming. This is a crash course in all things strength. Limited to 8 participants so that each person can receive one-on-one support and feedback.
Time: Wednesday nights 5:30-6:15pm from May 6-27th. This will be the last time we have this series at this time for the foreseeable future!
Cost: $150 for all 4 weeks. Please reach out if price is a barrier, we will never turn anyone away!

Upcoming Boxing Basics dates:
April 10th 5:30-6:30pm (this was moved from April 3rd)
April 19th 2-3pm
May 1st 5:30-6:30pm (it is typically the first Friday of every month)
This class is required before registering for Cardio Boxing or Craft Boxing. This class introduces the 6 basic punches and 3 defensive moves to prepare you for boxing classes using the heavy bag. No gloves needed! Shoes not required. If you choose to wear shoes, please bring a pair of clean, indoor-only shoes.
$8 for a drop-in! Registration for each class opens 7 days in advance, down to the hour.
