Illinois Swimming, the second largest Local Swim Committee in USA Swimming, has more than 17,000 registered athletes & more than 2,000 coaches and officials representing 116 swim clubs. The early mornings. The long practices. The endless laps. The teammates who push us. The coaches who believe in us. The families who cheer us on every step of the way.

Swimming isn’t always easy, but it’s always worth it. Because for Illinois Swimming, this isn’t just a sport. It’s a labor of love.

Were not done reliving summer yet… especially in this heat 🔥 Plus this trip needs a permanent spot on the grid… 2026 Pro Camp!

Back in June, 40 athletes boarded a bus to the Indy Pro Series with a special stop in Brownsburg for some serious long course training led Illinois Swimming Alum Matt Elliott!

A jam packed day, athletes learned from Matt about his experience as an illinois athlete competing at that level and finished their day cheering on fellow athletes and alum at the Pro Series, even meeting a few along the way!

Congratulations to the athletes selected to be part of this experience!

Wave 1 - Winter Juniors+ is OPEN
Wave 2 - Futures qualifiers opens 8/29 at 8:00am
Wave 3 - Sectionals & State qualifiers 9/1 at 8:00am

64 Athletes will be accepted to the camp being held at Stevenson High School on September 26&27th.

This year we will focus on:
Strength & Conditioning💪
In-water Training 🏊🏼‍♂️
+ Nutrition “in the kitchen”🧑‍🍳

And we look forward to see who wins the meet and the coveted GOLD cap! Will it be Team Flatlanders, Prairie State, Great Lakes or Windy City!?
