The front nine was opened in 1972 and the back nine completed in 1993. Since then, Desert Aire Golf Course has received accolades from Golf Digest, Northwest Golfer Magazine, Washington Golf Guide and the Central Washington Chapter of the PGA. The beautifully-groomed course winds through the sand, sage and gentle hills of the natural desert. This championship layout puts a premium on shotmaking an

d putting. It rewards those players who can manage their golf game around the penalties that await the overly aggressive golfer. The course is serenely nestled on an 8,000 acre lake formed by the Priest Rapids Dam along the majestic Columbia River in south central Washington and is framed by stunning vistas of the Umtanum Ridge.

Someone doesnt have the respect for the golf course that most of our community, guests, and staff have. Last night they decided it would be fun to drive thier cart on the #5 green leaving some tracks. This is unacceptable behavior in our community. We received 5 new Yamaha carts to our fleet and they are awesome!! That means we have 5 that will be going up for auction starting tomorrow May 1st, through May 10th. This is a silent auction and you can bid in person, or via email. More details can be found in the flyer below. You are welcome to come out and check out the carts we have up for sale. Bids for each cart will start at $2900.

We have also figured out a way in our system to keep our range open after hours. We will now keep the range machine on until 8pm, and this time will get later as the days get longer. Purchasing of range balls after hours is debit/credit only.
