This year has already been a special one as Coach Gabe celebrated his first championship as a Varsity Head Coach, leading Varsity Black to a title at the Big Shots National Tournament.

His leadership, dedication, and passion for developing our players continue to make a lasting impact on the Texas Storm program.

We want to take a moment to publicly commend and congratulate our Athletic Director, Coach Ani Umana. Coach Ani was recognized by Silver Waves Media as one of the “2026 100 Most Impactful People in Men’s College Basketball.”

This is a big deal, and it speaks volumes about his influence, relationships, credibility, and the standard of excellence he brings to Texas Storm every day. Coach Ani, thank you for your tireless work, your leadership, and for pouring into our young men on and off the court.
As Scripture reminds us, when you walk in wisdom and humility, you can have “favor with God and man.”
