Please join us in celebrating 8 year old Myles Dantzler, a third-grade student at Bates Academy! He has been accepted into Mensa — the world’s largest high-IQ society for individuals who test in the top 2% globally.
Myles currently reads at a seventh grade level, after teaching himself to read at just three years old; a testament to his curiosity, discipline, and Yah-given intellect.
We salute his parents, educators and village for cultivating his gifts and guiding him. Keep rising Myles!

The orientation for the first group of boys entering the 2026–27 Rite of Passage was a great success! Due to the size of this year’s class, we split orientation into two groups, with the second half of boys being oriented tomorrow. Please join us in celebrating them as they begin their journey toward comprehensive manhood!

Join us in thanking Ocean Prime of Troy for hosting The Cave of Adullam’s Dining Etiquette Testing! Over the past six weeks, our students have been immersed in a training experience that refined not only their table manners — from the skillful handling of a knife and fork, to their ability to hold meaningful conversations that enhance the dining experience.
Studies show that mastering dining etiquette can increase your chances of landing a job, closing a business deal or leaving a lasting impression on the person you hope to marry.
