Today is our beloved Hasani’s last day in The Cave. He’s moving out of town, and while we wish he could have completed the one year rite of passage with his brothers, we also know that sometimes Yah finishes a work differently than we imagined.
And in Hasani’s case, we believe and have seen confirmation that the work Yah needed to do in his heart with us was completed.
Yesterday, Hasani surrendered his life to Yahushua and asked to be baptized. Everyone gathered around him, laid their hands on him, and prayed over his life. Then today, we watched him go down into the water and rise again with a declaration that will travel with him far beyond The Cave.

Hasani may be leaving Detroit but he is not leaving Yah’s hands. We know without a doubt that the One who began this work in Hasani will continue it wherever he goes.
The Cave was only one chapter… Yah is still writing the story.
