Congrats to Detroit Palmer Park Disc Golf Course
Detroit, MI - Paul McBeth Foundation
The City of Detroit has not had a completed permanent disc golf course within city limits and we’re working with Discraft and People for Palmer Park (PFPP) to change that. The project involves helping to finish an advanced 18-hole course while adding a 9-hole beginner-friendly course, providing re...

Hello Detroit Disc Golf Community!
Sad to report the course signs have been damaged. We are not detoured! It is not uncommon for disc golf course signage to be vandalized. Friends of Hope Playfield DGC will replace the signs ASAP. Use the Udisc map for tee locations for the time being.

The course record is held by The Throw Shop at 7 under par. This is Michigan's largest disc golf pro shop located in Ypsilanti and the shop that donated 9 baskets to Detroit Palmer Park Disc Golf Course. Be sure to check out the shop and the Ypsi courses.
Impressive round, did you birdie hole 1? We'd love a screen shot of the score card.

Hello Detroit Disc Golfers,
Hope Playfield DGC is one of two disc golf courses within the City of Detroit. Established in 2010 by the City of Detroit with support from the Lear Corporation, it is a small rec course that uses three baskets to create a fun and safe 9 holes.
The Friends of Hope Playfield Disc Golf Course reactived the course in 2021 and helps to maintain course signage, pick up trash, and promote the course. We think this three basket course is a great example of how to bring disc golf to smaller urban parks (more info to come on the benefits of compact course design!).
Intermediate and beginner players will be pleasantly surprised by how fun and beautiful Hope Playfield DGC is. Looking forward to posting news and updates about the course on this page.
We are so happy to see an 18 hole course installed in Palmer Park by Detroit Palmer Park Disc Golf Course, a great group of like minded disc golfers. Clearly the City of Detroit has dedicated disc golfers seeking to build a community around the sport.
Happy Discing
Adam Kokenakes, Friends of Hope Playfield DGC
