Before you keyboard warriors burn me at the stake for this… this was not intentional and very unexpected. He was NOT harmed and was successfully released! We would never target or make any effort to be in a situation like this.

While trolling today, we had a Loon fly by and get caught in our outside board. He was tangled and could not free himself. We were dead set on making sure he was not harmed and carefully handled the situation. We reeled him in, untangled him and freed him to go back to doing whatever Loons do 😂. Always have thought Loons were awesome, but never thought I’d end up this close to one.

Oh and we caught there 24 walleyes as a bonus!
