Criterium racing hits the streets of Detroit! The Criterium Detroit City is bringing high energy criterium style bike racing back to Detroit.
For a city with such an excellent bicycling community there has been one glaring omission for years: A USAC sanctioned race.

International Velodrome at Bloomer Park opens tomorrow at 10am in Rochester Hills, Michigan. Full week schedule: mon-youth, tues-serious training, wed-training races, thud-new riders, fri-NITE RACEs,sat-new rider class101, sun-open riding. I'm sorry if you planned to attend, trust me, I didn't want to cancel, I've been planning 3 races like you've been planning on racing 3 races. But if it makes it better the race on Aug 30th will have full categories. July 19th is pending finding cash, but I really hope that one goes off without a hitch.
