A lot of the music I’m dropping this year was recorded while sitting down.

I couldn’t walk for 3 months after I tore my Achilles.

You think I was gonna let a torn Achilles stop me? Absolutely not.

There were times I went to the studio to record while on crutches and nobody knew but my Wife and my Producers.
(Plus I still worked out everyday too😤)

It’s crazy because had It not been for the injury, I don’t know if I would’ve found the time to record new music. God ALWAYS has a plan.

New music is on the way.
Plus I can walk again now so it’s up. 🚀

Today is my son Houston’s 14th Birthday! I’m so proud of you Son. You’re not just a great student athlete, but you’re a great human being. And I’m honored to be your Father.🖤

This year, he’s been great in the classroom📚

Made his school basketball team after not making the team last year. 🏀

AND he got promoted to a starter last week. 😤

So I wanted to give him something special he’d always remember.

I got him a custom Letterman jacket with his school team and colors and his name on the back. 🔥🔥🔥
He loved it ❤️

2024 was a great year.

✅I got married to the woman I prayed for👰🏾‍♀️

✅Celebrated 10 years in business 📈

✅Traveled the 🌍

✅Got my first Stellar nomination for a song called “Never Leave” I cowrote on album 🏆

✅Co-wrote a wedding anthem called “Real Love” with my bros and that went viral.

✅Then I ruptured my Achilles and had to learn how to walk again🤦🏾‍♂️🦵🏾

✅I performed on my first Stellar Award
stage (with a partially torn Achilles)

✅Then my gym burned down 🔥🚒🧯🤦🏾‍♂️

✅Now I’m about to architecturally design my entire building from scratch. And with the help of some of Detroit’s most skilled builders, I’m about to rebuild Grindtime 2.0

This year has been a roller coaster ride of highs and lows. But I wouldn’t trade any experience I’ve had. The good times teach us how to smile. The challenges help to build character in us. So we need both. The key is to never let the highs go to your head, and never let the lows go to your heart.

2025 is going to be even bigger and better. New gym on the way. New music on the way. New blessings on the way.

Plus my Achilles has healed up well so I can walk again.🦵🏾
