WSU Swing Dance Club

WSU Swing Club wanted our community’s thoughts on having social dance starting in the winter semester of 2022? The reasoning for this is to give time for people to decide on what measures they want to take before entering a social space for dancing. With the pandemic and COVID guidelines we want to make sure we provide safety to all dancers. Comment to tell us your thoughts and thank you in advance ❤️❤️

NO SWING TONIGHT (1/16). We'll instead be ice skating at Campus Martius. First shuttle leaves AWD Dunkin' at 6pm.* Hope to see you there! (*DOSO ticket required)

Hey everyone! WSU Swing Dance Club will be dancing at a few locations at Noel Night today--come check us out at any of the following locations:

3:30 to 4:30pm: Detroit Historical Museum (5401 Woodward Ave, Detroit, MI 48202)

1-7pm: WSU Bio building Atrium/Lobby (5047 Gullen Mall)

It was spooky seeing so many dancers at our annual Halloween party again! We can’t wait to see you all Monday and Thursday from 7-9PM! ☠️

Don’t miss out on one of the biggest events of the year! Halloween swing will be this Thursday, October 31st from 7-10pm in the Student Center basement room 025. Be there or else... 🎃

Happy Halloween dancers! WSU Swing Dance is throwing its annual halloween costume party! There will be a costume contest, snack potluck (bring something to share), games, and prizes. Bring your friends and meet us in the Student Center basement room 025 on fright night itself, Thursday October 31 from 7-10pm! That is, unless you’re scared? 👻

We decided to try something out of the box (or should I say ballroom) and dance at some of our favorite locations downtown. Message us if you are interested in joining us on our next swing excursion!
