The weather right now is cooking us! At least it will soon be time for US to do the cooking. If you have been with us before, you know going hungry isn’t something you have to worry about around camp! There’s nothing like coming in from a hunt to a fresh bowl of homemade chili or red beans and rice. Then for dinner you can look forward to some homemade chicken and sausage gumbo or a big helping of shrimp étouffée. There are 3 birds on the top of almost everyone’s list when they come to hunt with us and it’s Mallards, Pintails and Canvasbacks. All three are a trophy for any one. Not every day is perfect for all of them, but thanks to Louisiana weather the opportunity for each changes daily. We offer day hunts, however taking the opportunity to hunt multiple days increases your opportunity to get the trophy bird you’ve been after.
