After working for over 50 years, we retired from our professions in 2009. Realizing that there was a need for an activity in our community that people of all ages could enjoy, we constructed and opened Coyotee Flats Golf Center.

Up until now, things have been going pretty well. Unfortunately, there has been a lot of destruction at the driving range lately. Last week we received a phone call that 4 young people were standing on top of the picnic tables hitting golf balls across the road toward the church. One golf ball just missed a gentleman working in his yard. He was able to get the license plate number of the vehicle they were driving and we do have that.

We purchased 4 wooden benches and 3 of them have been completely destroyed as the legs have been broken off of them. On our visit to the “range” yesterday, one of the picnic tables had been completely turned over and golf clubs had been broken and the shafts were stuck in the ground. This is very disappointing since the driving range serves basically as a community service and Dennis and I work pretty darn hard keeping it serviceable and stocked for our customers. If this activity continues we may have no choice but to close it down. Please talk to your children and friends about this and maybe we will be able to continue this service.

Golf lessons will be Tuesdays and Thursdays at 10,11AM and 1PM Starting the 27th of May. I cut the 9AM session and added the 1PM session as many kids are enrolled in summer school until noon. 10 kids are allowed per session so the 11am slot only has 2 spots left. Please get your kids signed up asap. Here is a list of kids signed up with respective times.......
