Well… yesterday’s lesson wasn’t basketball. It was “pay attention before you leave the house.” 😂🏀

Summer has been nothing but gym, training, sleeping, and trying to build Dickinson Select Gators back up for the long run. My brain has officially been on basketball autopilot.

I’m demonstrating ladder footwork to the kids, glance down at my feet, and… WHY AM I WEARING TWO DIFFERENT SHOES?! 🤦🏽‍♀️🤣

Not different colors of the same shoe. Nope. Two completely different shoes. I left the house in such a rush that apparently my feet made two separate decisions.

The kids thought it was hilarious. I was embarrassed for about 30 seconds… then I couldn’t stop laughing myself.

I guess the good news is my footwork was still right… even if my footwear wasn’t. 😂

Moral of the story: When you’re chasing big goals, don’t forget to look down every once in a while. 😅

Anybody else ever left the house wearing something completely ridiculous, or is this just my life now? 🤣👇
