Help For Veterans, Inc. Our mission is to assist veterans in Dillon County, South Carolina, who are in need. We are all volunteers.

MISSION STATEMENT:
To help find assistance for homeless and low-income veterans in Dillon County, SC, through involvement with the local community and businesses as well as other government and national organizations. In addition, to help them obtain optimal levels of healthcare, education, and training that will enable the veterans to enter into society at a level the veterans have earned and deserve. OTHER INFORMATION:
Help For Veterans, Inc., is a 501(c)3 organization 100% of all donations will be used for Veterans in Dillon County, SC; there will be no salaries taken.

It's Time To Sign Up For The Help For Veterans Health Fair!

The Help For Veterans Health Fair is scheduled for Thursday, October 15, 2026 from 11 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. at the City of Dillon Wellness Center. We hope that you will be able to attend and provide free information and services for our veterans. Please let us know as soon as possible if you will be able to participate.

City of Dillon Third Annual Veterans Day Parade

The City of Dillon proudly invites the community to join us for the Third Annual Veterans Day Parade on Wednesday, November 11, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. in downtown Dillon.
This special community tradition is an opportunity to come together and honor the men and women who have served our country and recognize the sacrifices made by our veterans and their
families.
Parade applications are now being accepted!
The City of Dillon encourages veterans, their families and friends to participate in the parade. Veterans may walk, ride in a vehicle, participate with family and friends, or join as part of an organization or group. Walking groups, floats, cars and trucks, motorcycles, military vehicles, tractors and other appropriate parade entries are also welcome.
Veterans who would like to participate but have mobility concerns are especially encouraged to register. Transportation assistance can be arranged so that every veteran who wishes to take part has the opportunity to do so.
The parade will begin at 10:30 a.m. in downtown Dillon and travel along Main Street before concluding at Dillon County Veterans Square, where the annual Veterans Day Ceremony will follow.
Applications are due Friday, November 6, 2026.
