Demolition took on USC United Sunday at home for their season opener! 💥⚽️
With some new faces joining the team and a new formation making its debut on the field, this was just the beginning of what’s sure to be an exciting season! While the final score didn’t fall our way, the boys showed determination and gave us plenty to build on.
On to the next one! 💜💪🏼

Demolition wrapped up a busy spring season this weekend at the Mason Dixon Cup in Hagerstown, Maryland.
What we initially thought would be a smaller tournament turned out to be one of the most competitive events we’ve attended. Our U13 bracket featured four high-level teams, including clubs that compete at some of the highest levels of youth soccer, with one team playing at the National League level.
Over the course of three tough matches, we faced elite competition every time we stepped on the field. While the results didn’t fall our way, the boys proved they belonged. They battled hard, competed with confidence, and showed they can hang with some of the best teams around.
For us, this weekend was never just about wins and losses. It was about challenging ourselves, finding out where we stand, and preparing for the next step in our development. The experience gained this weekend will only make us stronger heading into next season.
The highlight of the tournament came in our final match against Baltimore Bay SC, the top team in the bracket. We knew we were in for a war, and the boys answered the call. Despite a 4-0 loss, they fought until the final whistle, held Baltimore scoreless in the second half, created numerous scoring chances, and made them work for every minute of the game. The scoreline doesn’t fully reflect how competitive and hard-fought that match was.
We couldn’t be prouder of this group. They left everything on the field, pushed themselves against top competition, and never backed down from a challenge. That’s the kind of mentality that will continue to help this team grow.
Now it’s time to rest, recover, and get ready for what’s next. ⚽️💜
Goals from: Dean, Bentley & Owen

What a run for Demolition in the State Cup! ⚽️💜
Our journey came to an end today in the semifinals at Henderson High School against Rebels FC, but this boys exceeded every expectation along the way.
The boys finished top of our bracket with a +6 goal differential while the other three teams finished negative. We battled our way through the quarterfinals with an amazing win and earned our spot in the semifinals. Over the entire tournament, the team scored 17 goals and only allowed 6, finishing with an overall goal differential of +11.
More importantly, we could not be prouder of the effort, growth, and heart these boys showed every single game. As coaches, you can teach and prepare as much as possible, but once that whistle blows, it’s up to the boys on the field to make it happen, and they absolutely played like superstars. 🌟
Heads held high. So proud of this team and everything they accomplished this State Cup run. The State Cup might be over but they sure made so many memories along the way!! 💪⚽️

Yesterday, Demolition faced Steel United in the State Cup quarterfinals. Coming in, we knew on paper they were a strong team, and there were definitely some nerves. But from the first whistle, our boys showed up ready to compete and didn’t back down.
It wasn’t a perfect game. We had to make adjustments along the way to handle their formation, speed, and passing, but the effort and determination never wavered.
Final score: 3–2….A small-town club from Dillsburg, PA took down a large, nationwide club! The underdog prevails!!! 💪🏼
It’s honestly still sinking in. Our goal was just to make it out of the State Cup brackets, and now we’re heading to the semifinals.
Stay tuned for next weekend.💜⚽️
Today Demolition took on SSC Cyclones away. What started as chaos, showing up to the wrong park and scrambling to find the right one, left the boys with only about 20 minutes to warm up. Not exactly ideal.
But they didn’t let it shake them. From the first whistle, Demolition took control and showed the Cyclones who was boss. It was a physical match, with two penalties awarded against us, but neither found the back of the net thanks to a huge performance from our amazing goalie. Even with some one-sided calls, the boys stayed composed and kept pushing.
They finished strong and walked away with a 4–1 win. 💪⚽️ Way to go boys!!! Next week is the Quarter-Finals for the EPYS State Cup!!
One of the many highlights from yesterday’s big 8–1 win against Horsham. 💪🏼
What a combination. From the midfield, back to the defense, out to the left wing for the header, then to our striker to run onto the ball and tuck it into the corner. Textbook perfection. 🤩💜⚽️

Demolition had a busy day to say the least, with a CPYSL league game in the morning and a State Cup matchup this afternoon. While the focus was on the State Cup, the boys still showed up in the first game and managed their minutes to save their legs for the more important battle later in the day. ⚽️
This afternoon we took on Horsham Soccer PA at home. They were sitting second in our bracket and their stats spoke for themselves, so we knew a tough fight was coming. The Demolition boys rested up, reset, and came to the field ready.
We weren’t going to lose on our home field. 😡
Within the first five minutes we were already up 2-0, and the boys never let off the gas. They kept the pressure on from start to finish, even adding a last-second goal to really put the nail in the coffin. Final score: 8-1.
I don’t think Horsham knew what hit them.
We’re out of the bracket and onto the quarter finals we go!! 💪🏼

Second game of the State Cup had us traveling two hours to Warminster, PA to take on Vereinigung Erzgebirge SC (VE). They brought a strong challenge from the start. With tired legs from yesterday and limited numbers, the boys dug deep, played hard, and left everything on the field. The match ended in a hard-fought 2–2 draw. 💪🏼
After the game, the Director of Coaching, Rob invited the coaches into the clubhouse for a drink and some great conversation. Thank you to VE for a competitive match and outstanding hospitality.
P.S. The boys even got to pose in front of a piece of the Berlin Wall. The only full piece left in the USA. So cool 🇩🇪🇺🇸
First game of the season in Division 1… and it was a big one. ☝🏼
Demolition, the Division 3 champs, took on the Mason Dixon Strikers, the Division 2 champs, for the 8th time, now both competing in Division 1. The stakes were high, and not just because both teams entered as champions. Demolition also came in undefeated against Mason Dixon.
The game was tense from the start. Both teams played hard, physical, and competitive. It was close, keeping everyone on edge until the final whistle. 🫣
Demolition pulled out the win, 5–4. 💜👏🏼
It was a great battle and a strong start to the season. Emotions ran high, but both teams showed respect at the end, shaking hands and moving on.
Great game, Demolition. Way to keep the streak alive against our friends at Mason Dixon. ⚽️💜
