Since announcing my retirement, I’ve had so many unexpected, special moments and surprises, including today when 26 drill team girls crowded into my office to hug me bye. And then after school today, when I walked in to Collaboration Time, and my PE colleagues were sitting in the dark amidst a table of cake and food, and then tried to scare me when I walked in - Daniel behind the projection screen and Mary behind the door, you actually kinda did 😂. I didn’t get a picture of the cake and all the food, but of course, Mary McGroarty out did herself. All of these surprises have been a delightful reminder of how lucky and blessed I’ve been to have had all these people in my life. Thank you so much everyone. You know how to make a soon to be retired person feel special ❤️💙
