Ark River Hunts

Youth hunters (ages 6–16) will enjoy pheasants, chukar, trap shooting, and hands-on game prep—including cooking their birds onsite.

Another successful youth hunt in the books for Ark River Hunts! Started out the morning with bacon, eggs, and s’mores over the fire. Who doesn’t love a good s’more for breakfast?!

Next up, shooting clays and birds! We were blessed with beautiful weather, a great group of youth hunters, parents, and volunteers!

We had the opportunity to watch some great shooting! 20 kids attended the event with every hunter hitting at least one bird. Several youth were able to hit all four. Most importantly they learned the principles of gun safety and guidelines for having a successful and safe hunting experience.

The day ended with the kids getting to clean, cook, and eat their quarry. Thank you again to all the volunteers, parents, and sponsors! We couldn’t have a hunt like this without you!
