🏃‍♂️ MEET THE RUNNERS — FRESHMEN CLASS (pt.1) 🏃‍♂️

These three freshmen boys have officially made the "1 More Mile" leap from middle school to high school XC races. Now entering their 3rd year with the Hawks, they bring tremendous strength and depth to our squad. As our seniors prepare to graduate at the end of the season, these three are stepping up to carry the torch! 🔥

🏃‍♂️ Drake Newton
Drake is already leading the team from the front on varsity. He loves weekend long runs with friends, draws strength from Isaiah 41:10, and fuels up after workouts with Nerds Gummy Clusters!

🏃‍♂️ Riley Edens
Riley keeps hitting PR after PR as he drops his race times. He loves building endurance, thrives on running at Pollmiller Park, and refuels with Stinger gummies and blue Gatorade.

🏃‍♂️ Carter Crozier
Carter is gaining serious stamina with every single race. His favorite part of XC is the bond with his teammates—highlighted by Bridge 23 running camp—and he always rehydrates with a Gatorade.

Drop some encouragement and high fives for Drake, Riley, and Carter in the comments below! 👇

MEET THE RUNNER 🏃‍♀️💨

We’ve had the privilege of watching these three incredible runners grow since their middle school days, and watching their transition to high school cross country has been amazing! Stepping up to the high school level takes real grit, and they are already making a big impact on the squad. With talent, heart, and a desire to develop, how far they’ll go is going to be so fun to watch! ✨⚡️

Addalie Daly | Freshman
For Addalie, the best part of XC is that rewarding feeling of accomplishment, especially when looking back at her favorite memory of taking 2nd at conference last year! 🏅 Guided by her favorite verse, "I'm willing & able," she loves logging miles at Wilson Lake and refueling with simple, ice-cold water. 💧🏃‍♀️

Adella Adkins | Freshman
Adella thrives on the team bonding and lifelong friendships built through XC, with her favorite memory being post-run Hinterland ice cream at Wilson Lake! 🍦 Grounded by Romans 5:8, her favorite spot to hit the trails is Indian Lake, always followed by a blue Gatorade. ⚡️💙

Madison Koller | Freshman
Madison loves the shared team spirit of cross country and finds constant encouragement in her teammates and Philippians 4:13! 🤝 You’ll often find her running around Martin Pond and cooling down after a hard effort with ice-cold water and Swedish Fish. 🧊

Meet your sophomore boys representing our cross country team! These three bring different levels of experience to the course, but they all share a passion for the sport.

🏃‍♂️ Orion St. Clair is a veteran of the team, now in his fourth year of running. He claims his favorite part is "the finish line," but we know his years of dedication say otherwise. He is a key part of our team's success!

🏃‍♂️ Ayden DeBrackeleire is in his third year on the team and clearly understands the mental aspect of racing. His favorite XC memory reminds us, "it's not hard if you actually put your mind to it & talk yourself up instead of down." Great advice, Ayden!

🏃‍♂️ Noah Johnson may be in his first year running XC, but he is already making a great contribution to our team. In just his first season, he says his favorite part is "the friends you meet along the way" and meeting everyone for the first time. We are glad you joined us, Noah!

We are so proud of these sophomore runners. Their positive attitude and hard work make them valuable members of our team. Let's hear it for Orion, Ayden, and Noah

Good Luck, Kaidin!

Sending massive strength to Kaidin Humes as he tackles The Broken Anvil Backyard Ultra! Four miles, hour after hour, lap after lap. It takes incredible grit, focus, and heart to keep stepping up to that start line.

We’re behind you every single mile and every single loop. Dig deep, trust your training, and run strong! 🏃💨
