John 21:2-5 Simon Peter, and Thomas, and Nathaniel, and the sons of Zebedee, and two others of His disciples were together. Simon Peter said to them, “I am going fishing.” They said to Him, “We will also come with you.” They went out and got into the boat; and that night they caught nothing. But when the day was now breaking, Jesus stood on the beach….So Jesus said to them, “Children, you do not have any fish do you?”……”DURING TIMES OF CRISIS OUR TENDENCY IS TO RUN TO THAT WHICH COMFORTED US IN PREVIOUS TIMES OF CRISIS.” PETER AND THE SONS OF ZEBEDEE WERE FISHING, BECAUSE THEY WERE FISHERMEN, WHEN JESUS SAID TO THEM, “FOLLOW ME”. THEY LET THEIR PLACE OF COMFORT AND STABILITY AND STARTED FOLLOWING JESUS. LIKE MANY TODAY THOUGH; WHEN TRIALS AND TRIBULATIONS COME, THEY WENT BACK TO WHAT HELPED COMFORT THEM BEFORE DURING CRISIS; AND WE DO TOO! KNOW THIS; JESUS SEES YOU AND HE’S ASKING YOU A QUESTION THAT HE ANSWERS HIMSELF; “CHILDREN, YOU DO NOT HAVE ANY FISH, DO YOU?” TRIALS, CRISIS, AND TRIBULATIONS WILL COME. THEY ARE NECESSARY FOR GROWTH. DON’T RUN TO WHAT YOU KNOW, IT HADN’T WORKED IN THE PAST HAS IT; BUT RUN TO JESUS; “COME TO ME” AND HE WILL HELP YOU, FEED YOU AND COMFORT YOU! “CAST YOUR NET ON THE RIGHT-HAND SIDE OF THE BOAT”; “BRING SOME OF THE FISH WHICH YOU HAVE NOW CAUGHT”; AND “COME AND HAVE BREAKFAST.” THAT’S OUR JESUS! “MAY THE LORD CAUSE HIS FACE TO SHINE ON YOU AND BE GRACIOUS TO YOU” TODAY IN JESUS NAME! AMEN!

Ecclesiastes 5:10-11 He who loves money will not be satisfied with money, nor he who loves abundance with its income. This too is vanity. When good things increase, those who consume them increase. So what is the advantage to their owners except to look on?…..”THE MORE YOU MAKE THE MORE IT TAKES” WHEN OUR INCOMES INCREASES, THE CONSUMERS OF THE INCOME INCREASES; TAXES AND THE IRS, SOMEONE TO KEEP IT UP, ACCOUNTANT FEES, FINANCIAL ADVISERS, THOSE CONNECTED TO YOU AND ETC ALL INCREASES. KNOW THAT THERE ARE SOME THINGS MONEY CAN’T BUY; PEACE FOR EXAMPLE. IN VERSE 12 IT SAYS, “THE SLEEP OF A WORKING MAN IS PLEASANT, WHETHER HE EATS A LITTLE OR MUCH; BUT THE FULL STOMACH OF THE RICH MAN DOES NOT ALLOW HIM TO SLEEP. THERE ARE A LOT OF GOOD PEOPLE WITH FULL STOMACHS WHO CANNOT SLEEP TODAY, BECAUSE OF THE SIDE EFFECTS OF THE LOVE OF MONEY! GO BACK TO YOUR FIRST LOVE; JESUS CHRIST OUR LORD; CASTING ALL YOUR CARES ON HIM, AND FIND “SWEET SLEEP”. “MAY THE LORD BLESS YOU AND KEEP YOU” TODAY IN JESUS NAME! AMEN!

Luke 10:1-2, 17 Now after this the Lord appointed seventy others and sent them in pairs ahead of Him to every city and place where He Himself was going to come. And He was saying to them, “The harvest is plentiful but the laborers are few”….v.17) The seventy returned with joy, saying, ‘Lord even the demons are subject to us in Your name.”…….”SENT WITH AUTHORITY SO WALK IN AUTHORITY.” YOU TOO HAVE BEEN SENT OUT WITH AUTHORITY BY THE ONE WHO HAS ALL AUTHORITY. EVERY BELIEVER HAS BEEN APPOINTED TO “GO” IN THE AUTHORITY OF THE NAME OF JESUS TO EVERY CITY AND PLACE HE HIMSELF IS GOING TO COME! IT’S OUR MISSION. KNOW THERE’S A BLESSING IN YOUR GOING; “THE SEVENTY RETURNED WITH JOY!” KNOW THIS YOU HAVE BEEN ANOINTED AND APPOINTED TO “GO” TELL THEM HE’S COMING! THE PROBLEM WE FACE TODAY IS THE SAME PROBLEM THEY HAD IN JESUS’ DAY AND WILL ALWAYS BE THIS WAY; “THE HARVEST IS PLENTIFUL BUT THE LABORERS ARE FEW.” DON’T GO WITH THE CROWD WHO ARE MAKING EXCUSES; BUT ON THE OTHER HAND BE WHO YOU HAVE BEEN CHOSEN AND ANOINTED AND APPOINTED TO BE! THE ONE WHO WALKS AND SPEAKS IN THE AUTHORITY OF THE ONE WHO HAS ALL AUTHORITY AND PROMISES US; “I AM WITH YOU ALWAYS”. YOU WILL NEVER KNOW FOR YOURSELF UNLESS YOU “GO”! THAT TAKES FAITH. MY RESPONSE AND THE PROPER RESPONSE TO THIS IS, “HERE I AM LORD! SEND ME I’LL GO!” OH WHAT JOY AWAITS YOU WHEN YOU DO! “MAY THE LORD BLESS YOU AND KEEP YOU” TODAY IN JESUS NAME! AMEN!

Mark 12:41-44 And He sat down opposite the treasury, and began observing how the people were putting money into the treasury; and many rich people were putting in large sums. A poor widow came and put in two small copper coins, which amount to a cent. Calling His disciples to Him, He said to them, ‘Truly I say to you, this poor widow put in more than all the contributors…for they gave out of their surplus, but she out of her poverty, gave all she had to live on.”….”GOD COUNTS MONEY DIFFERENT” GOD LOOKS AT HOW MUCH YOU KEEP; NOT JUST HOW MUCH YOU GIVE. I BELIEVE GOD LOOKS AT OUR TIME IN THIS WAY ALSO. WE GIVE THE WORLD AND OTHERS OUR BEST AND BRING HIM WHAT’S LEFT. CHECK YOUR GIVING TO GOD. ARE YOU GIVING HIM WHAT’S LEFTOVER OR YOUR ALL? LEARN FROM GOD! HE DID NOT GIVE US WHAT WAS LEFT, BUT ALL HE HAD IN HIS “ONLY BEGOTTEN SON”. “AS CHILDREN OF GOD BE IMITATORS OF HIM” THERE’S A BLESSING IN THE LESSON! I’VE LIVED TO SEE IT. “MAY THE LORD LIFT UP HIS COUNTENANCE UPON YOU AND GIVE YOU PEACE” TODAY IN JESUS NAME! AMEN!
