It is with much sadness that we share that the youngest daughter of Soke and Sumiko Yamamoto, Maria Yamamoto, has passed away in Japan this morning. Their oldest daughter, Minako, called to let us know that her battle wth her illness is over. She has bravely been battling an illness with a lung disease for an extended time and had undergone a double lung transplant a little over a year ago. About six months ago, she began to experience declining issues again, was hospitalized, and had returned home just a few days ago. We ask that everyone keep the Yamamoto family in their prayers during this difficult time. She will be missed very much and lovingly remembered by many.
