Assalt Weapan: The Return

I just got off of the phone with Gibtec, makers of our new 13:1 pistons for the Assalt Weapan: The Return land speed Panhead. The blanks are in house, the new tooling is in house, the digitizing is complete and the machining of the pistons has begun!! We have our new valve tool to aid JimBob Haines' flow bench work. After the Assalt Weapan returns from The Iron & Chrome Collective a Museum on Wheels in Panama City Beach at the end of the month, we will pull the engine, massage the heads and then send them off to JimBob for some killer port and valve work. There are thirteen other areas to address. We fully intend to be in Arkansas and Texas for the first mile runs of 2027 in preparation for Bonneville. Stay tuned!

Just got off the phone with The Champ, Wayne Pollack. He helps me "Bigly" with learning to ride fast. Not just hanging on, but rather the nuances of riding really fast. Jay Allen, Michael Beland, Denis Manning and Keith Turk are others that give me grounded, sound advice. None of them really know that I talk to the others but each of them give me very similar advice from their experiences. That tells me I'm on the right track and learning from the right people. Larry Phillips came in yesterday to start preparing the Assalt Weapan: The Return land speed Panhead for The Texas Mile. Not for record setting but rather for nitrous tuning, gearing and practicing riding at high speeds. Thank you all for your kind words, support and contributions. I couldn't do it without you. Cheyenne for breakfast. The Diamond Horseshoe. Apple pie, vanilla ice cream and bacon. The owner said that this is a first. Settings new standards. And we ride!
