Save the date!
Hope to see everyone at the picnic!
(Shoutout to AI for making us another dope flyer!)
Today we have some exciting news to share with our Kaizen family.
After years of serving our students and helping shape the culture of Kaizen Karate Academy, Master Dayna Scott is pursuing a lifelong dream of opening her own martial arts school, Integrity Martial Arts.
We couldn’t be more proud of her and all she has accomplished.
Master Scott will continue teaching at Kaizen during the transition, and we’re excited for the opportunities ahead for both schools. We look forward to continuing to work together through tournaments, seminars, special events, and our shared martial arts community.
At the same time, Kaizen Karate Academy remains stronger than ever, and Master Preece is excited to return to a more active day-to-day role on the training floor.
Please take a few minutes to watch the video and hear the announcement directly from us.

Master Preece had a blast teaching at Legacy Martial Arts tonight. Great group of students. 10/10 would make them suffer again 😂

We’re not supposed to use AI anymore so I had to make this flyer myself.
Can’t wait to see everyone at our annual Memorial Day workout.

May is all about one powerful word…
Integrity.
At Kaizen, we define integrity as:
Doing the right thing—even when no one is watching.
This month, your child won’t just be learning martial arts skills…
They’ll be developing the kind of character that carries into every part of their life.
We’ll be teaching them how to:
• Be honest and take responsibility
• Make the right choices—even when it’s hard
• Stay disciplined without needing to be watched
• Become someone others can trust
• Be the same person at school, at home, and on the mat
Because true leadership isn’t about what you do when people are watching…
It’s about who you are when they’re not.
At Kaizen, we’re not just building better athletes—
We’re building better people.

Respect isn’t something you talk about…
It’s something you show.
Week 4 – Respect Through Actions
This week, our students are learning that real respect is built through what you do—especially when no one is watching.
It’s:
• Practicing hard, even when you’re by yourself
• Giving your best effort every time
• Doing the right thing without being told
• Staying disciplined when it would be easy not to
Because that’s what true character looks like.
Anyone can say the right thing.
But leaders do the right thing.
At Kaizen, we’re building kids who don’t need to be watched to make good choices…
They choose it on their own.

Respect doesn’t stop at the gym.
This week in our Kaizen Code, we’re teaching our students what it really means to be a martial artist…
Respect Outside the Gym.
It’s easy to show respect in class.
That’s where the instructors are. That’s where the structure is.
But the real test is at home… and at school.
It’s:
• Helping without being asked
• Listening the first time
• Using kind words and a positive attitude
• Doing the right thing—even when no one is watching
Because that’s what real leadership looks like.
At Kaizen, we’re not just building strong athletes—
We’re building kids you can be proud of everywhere they go.

Youth MMA Uniforms Coming to Kaizen Combat Sports
We’re excited to announce the rollout of our official Youth MMA uniforms.
As our program continues to grow, this is an important step in creating the best possible training environment for our students. Our Youth MMA classes combine Jiu-Jitsu and Muay Thai, and the addition of rash guards and training shorts allows students to train safely, comfortably, and effectively across both disciplines.
More importantly, uniforms help us build something bigger than just skill…
✔️ A stronger team identity
✔️ A sense of belonging for every student
✔️ A unified Kaizen culture on the mat
✔️ And a way for students to take pride in their MMA journey
This is a really exciting step forward for the program, and we can’t wait to see our students representing Kaizen together on the mat.
