Attention scholarship applicants!!! Our mission is to encourage students entering or already enrolled in college (trade school, certificate program, or any form of furthering their education) who have experience with horses (showing, judging, therapeutic riding, ring stewarding, etc). The ESWHSA scholarship is intended to aide in the purchase of textbooks or tuition expenses and will be awarded directly to the student.

We are currently selling raffle tickets as a fundraiser for the Eastern Shore Western Horse Show Association for our annual banquet- these are for a bushel of crabs, a dozen ears of corn and a case of b**r or soda (or $250). Tickets are $5 a piece or 3 for $10. A winner will be drawn at our September 13 show. Let us know if you are interested in a chance! Tickets can be purchased from board members with cash or check and we also accept PayPal!

The Delmarva Miniature Horse Club and the Delmarva Paint Horse Club would like to thank everyone who supported our Eastern Shore Western Horse Show Association show on August 16. We had 7 entries in the Costume Class! The costumes were so good that Debbie & Jen couldn't decide so everyone received a Champion ribbon and a Tractor Supply gift certificate.

For those of you who didn't receive your high pt award ribbon at the show they will be available at the DSU ESWHSA show in Sept.

At the time of the show the Paint horse club's ribbons had not arrived and they should also be available at DSU Show, location of ribbons will be announced the day of the show.

Our show for tomorrow will proceed as normal- Starting at 8:30 AM at the Caroline County 4- H Park. We will try our best to move the show along. We look forward to seeing you all tomorrow!

A few reminders for our August 16 show this weekend- the patterns are posted below. The Mini youth showmanship will use the same pattern as the 10 & Under/ Walk- jog pattern and the Mini In hand Trail pattern will be used for all in hand trail classes.

Also, as a reminder, please clean up all manure, trash, and hay when you leave the show grounds.

All youth are required to wear an ASTM approved helmet while riding or in a cart.

Only adults (18 and older) are allowed to lead our leadliners in the ring for safety purposes.

Finally- we will be selling raffle tickets for bushel of crabs, dozen ears of corn & a case of b**r or soda OR $250- please contact a board member for tickets.
