Life & art lately
I’m happy to report that after 2 years of self-employment, I’ve been in the black for 6 months in a row.
It’s been a journey getting here. So many lessons learned, and putting my chips on art production and sales has been the risk that made this all worth it.
Now I’m able to wake up, paint, connect with clients, and sustain myself off of my creative practice. I still feel immense levels of doubt that “it’s working,” which I can feel subsiding with time.
I moved studios to lean even harder into my production. It has some new growing pains, but the expansion is promising thus far.
Thanks to everyone who has supported me. It means the world. I know I’ve been MIA on the fitness content, and I’m hopeful to get back into it when the dust settles (and when it cools down in the studio).
I’ve had a few people DM me lately mentioning that my content has helped them get in shape, even if we haven’t technically worked together. I’m always thrilled to hear this and this impact is reason alone to keep sharing the strategies that have worked for me.
Thanks again, and feel free to reach out!
