First of the year, 19 inches through the ice with minnows hooked through the back

Someone was lucky in western ma this past weekend

Took 3 steps onto Peters pond today don't think it's quite ready yet but it held my weight. That's a good sign

Little warm up yesterday but it's back to being below freezing. Let the ice form and the fishing begin... soon.
