UDC Jiu Jitsu

Yesterday's crew. We went through pressure progressions. Starting with Jiu Jitsu chess, then flow rolls, to free rolling. Great work!

Next month is the club's 1st anniversary. We have some awesome things in the works. Stay tuned!

Attention ladies in Utah County, Vida Jiu-Jitsu is providing free classes for women. This is an excellent chance to train, especially if our Saturday sessions are not working for your schedule.

Had a couple visitors, welcome. Let's keep it growing.
Also, SGT Hampton dropped by Vida Jiu-Jitsu Utah for the Grand Opening. If you are in the Spanish Fork area, drop in and check the school out. Awesome environment and a great team. Looking forward to getting Greg Lapin some time with our DT instructors. Last time we had the team meet up was a few years back. Not only was the experience extremely valuable to our instructors, but it helped set the momentum to get the club going.

Hey everyone that was planning on tonight's USCF class (5/20/26). Due to current facility operations we are going to postpone our opening night. Stand by for details.

Forgot to post this one from Saturday's class. Finished up our current series on guard passing. Remembering the four methods: around, through, over, and under.

Wednesday we will be supporting the opening session at USCF. That will be from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Next week we will have our normal class and then we will be traveling down to support Vida Jiu-Jitsu Utah and their grand opening event from 11:00 to 2:00 down in Spanish Fork. If you have to choose one or the other, and you can.. please make Vida the priority. The address is on the flyer.

Late notice...but SGT Walser will be teaching a gi session tomorrow (5/13/26) at Noon. Bring a gi. We have a couple loaner tops available.
FHA matroom...

Today Court "the Crusher" McGee taught an instructor session and Seminar for our department. Shout out to the instructors and club members that were able to make it, as well as SGT Rowley from DPS. Much more of this to come helping us deliver top quality, up to date, and relevant material to our Staff. Putting in the work with our community resources and partner agencies.
