Portland wasn't my favorite place. π³ but. Powell's City of Books was amazing! A full city block just full of books. π and we got pizza at Sizzle Pie. You know how much I love pizza, and this place was definitely so worth it! Also. There's a voodoo doll doughnut. π

Seriously though. The coast was beautiful. A different kind of beauty than the beaches in California. The water was freezing. I was freezing. But it was all so worth it. Also we took some cool looking pictures. π

Disclaimer: I actually am awful at getting dolled up for anything. I'm sure it drives my boyfriend crazy. So I've been making an effort to go out in more than just jeans and a tshirt.
Anyone want to take me shopping and help me dress myself? I literally have zero idea how to dress for my body type. Anyone else have that same issue??? π HELP! Now hiring someone to pick out my clothes on the daily. Think of me as your lifesize barbie doll, but with bigger hips and butt. ππ

The sunrise this morning in Gunnison was absolutely stunning. It actually woke me up because of how vibrant it was. My boyfriend keeps telling me I'll get tired of this place, but then it gives me more reasons to love it. π

Oh my gosh you guys! I just signed up for the NASM CES (Correctional Exercise Specialist) and the Nutrition Certification! I've been seriously considering both of these certifications and decided to just go for it. I need to learn to stop "waiting for tomorrow" or the "best time" to do something.

Is there something you've been hesitant to do, but you know it would help you progress and make you so so happy?? JUST DO IT!

Progress pictures are legit my best friend.πͺπΌ
I saw a post last week with a random girl and her b***y progress. And I did what every trainer will tell you to NEVER do. And that's compare. I got jealous of her progress and started to question why mine hasn't been like hers. Face palm major. π€¦π½ββοΈ
I was at the gym doing some deadlifts, when snapchat told me that this picture (the one on the left) was taken a year ago, today. So. I took a b***y picture to do the RIGHT kind of comparison. Comparing myself to MYSELF and where I was a year ago.
And holy smokes you guys!! Look! I've worked so hard and it does show! And that is what I should've been looking at the entire time. It doesn't matter how far the other girl has come. That's not going to help me get anywhere.
The only progress you should be worried about is your own. Having a goal of where you'd like to be, or what you'd like to look like is fine. But comparing it and obsessing over why you don't look a certain way won't improve your gains. It won't make working out easier.
I want you to stop comparing. Don't look at someone and wish to look like them. You are you for a reason. Love who you are. Set goals. And achieve them. Become the best version of you. That's what the world needs. And let me know how I can help. π₯°

Midnight bathroom post? Um ok. ππΌ
Many of you who know me know I suffer with adult acne. I've had acne pretty much my entire life, and it's always been something that effects my confidence greatly.
Many of you also know that I'm a sucker for helping out small business, or people trying to succeed in whatever business their working in, because I'm one of those people. ππΌ
My awesome sister, , has started working with arbonne, and I've heard their products are amazing. They have a night repair cream that I'm trying to see if it'll help. It's only been a couple of days, but I'll definitely let you all know how it is. βπΌ

I told him I didn't like him today. π
He made me do a million lunges. And medicine ball squat throws. And russian twists. 5 sets. I think I died. No exaggerations. But we did it.
Both of us laughed as our quads cramped. I cursed as my knees gave out. Then we laughed some more.
He pushes me to be better. To do more. Another rep. Another set. And that's the kind of people we need in our lives. It's said that we're the sum of the 5 people we surround ourselves with. Who do you surround yourself with? Do they push you to be better? Or do they squash your accomplishments? Are you learning from them? Or are you the smartest in the room? If you are, you need to get out of that room.
Find your people. The ones who lift you up. Who help you be better. π

A Halloween Party and Frightmares with this babe was amazing. Frightmares on the Saturday before Halloween is a NIGHTMARE, but it was still fun. Just being with him makes me happy, even if he left me in the middle of the Haunted House. π³π
We also won Scariest Costume at the party. βπΌπ§ π§ββοΈ
Grateful for him. Grateful for us. Excited for the next holiday by his side. π
