Shoutout to Corner Canyon Junior, Tanner Telford, who was named one of this week’s Deseret News, Minky Couture star athletes! Telford recently got revenge after losing to Layton’s Lander Bosh during last year’s final. This year, Telford left it all on the mat, keeping his perfect season as he beat Bosh during the Layton Invitational finals on Saturday. Charger Wrestling Club is looking for a Full-Time Middle School Wrestling Coach

Still smiling after 3 long days - 2 days of freestyle and today was Greco. We are proud of everyone’s hard work!

Charger Wrestling brought 5 girls to national team duals to represent Utah in Indiana. Two days of freestyle and we are on to Greco tomorrow. 2 girls in 14U and 3 Junior competitors ending the freestyle competition at 24-15.

Congrats to our own Coach Eure - can’t think of anyone who deserves this recognition more! We are grateful for all he does for our team!

At the recent Utah Society of Health and Physical Educators (SHAPE) Conference, Corner Canyon High wrestling and baseball coach Jeff Eure was named the Utah Teacher of the Year for Athletics and Coaching. Eure has led the Charger boys wrestling team since the school opened in 2013 and has coached the the baseball team since 2018. A former professional athlete himself, he was drafted by the Milwaukee Brewers in 1998. Congratulations to Coach Eure!

Another successful trip to Iowa for Folkstyle Nationals! Mana Fager won his second national title!
All-Americans Tanner Telford and Kaydon Williams both placed 6th.
