Radiance School of Ballet

Christmas Auditions are right around the corner!! We will be hosting auditions for our 2026 Christmas performance for our Ballet 4-7 dancers on September 19th from 12:15pm-3:00pm. Sign ups will be online through your parent portal. We will be announcing our Christmas production in the upcoming weeks!

*If your student is not in ballet 4-7, auditions are not required for them to participate in the Christmas performance.

We are excited to welcome back all of our new and returning students to the studio!

It’s not too late to register! Radiance provides Ballet to children ages 3+, Tap ages 7+, and Adult Ballet and Mat Pilates. We offer a free trial class to anyone who is wanting to try dance before registering. Simply fill out the trial form on our website and we will be in touch to schedule your class.

We are excited to announce that Alex Griffith will be joining our faculty this season to teach Pas De Deux classes!

Currently a company dancer with Oakland Ballet, formerly with Rochester City Ballet in NY, in his fourth season as a professional dancer, and with over a decade of training from Charlotte Ballet in NC, Alexander has been dancing more than half of his young life. He also attended Northwest School of the Arts from grade 6–12 as a Dance Major, where he received several nominations and accolades.

Alexander has a foundation in classical ballet, with many other interests sprinkled in. His work ethic, professionalism and genuine nature have been appreciated by both instructors and colleagues alike. Raised in the South, hospitality is second-nature, along with his charming drawl. From there, he launched his professional career in the North. Alexander later took the courageous leap out West to continue the pursuit of his passion.

Since joining Oakland Ballet, Alex has been featured as Diego in Viva la Vida, Nutcracker in Graham Lustig’s The Nutcracker, and in the Dancing Moons Festival. He has appeared as a guest artist with San Jose dance theater, Ayako School of Ballet, and the Westlake School of Performing Arts. Alex finds teaching an enriching experience and has offered his expertise and training to adult and youth students in both private and group classes at various studios across the Bay Area.

This adaptability will serve him well as a dancer with the ultimate goal of dancing professionally in Europe one day. For now, he is tremendously grateful for the opportunity to continue his artistic growth and diversity by instructing the students at Radiance and enriching their partnering skills.

We are so proud of our Ballet 4 students who have been promoted to pointe for the fall season! These dancers have worked extremely hard throughout the year and we are excited for their new chapter in their dancing! 🩰

The studio will be CLOSED for Summer Break, August 2-16, and Fall/Spring Session will begin August 17! ☀️

Our dance shop will be open on select dates and times to purchase your child’s proper dress code. Monday August 3rd: 11am-2pm, Monday August 10: 11am-2pm & 4pm-7pm, and Wednesday August 12: 4pm-7pm.

We look forward to seeing the students for the fall term!

We invite our Pre-Ballet and Ballet 1 students, as well as youth ages 5~9, to join us for a fun-filled, week-long dance camp!

Each day will feature a morning ballet technique class followed by themed crafts, dance exploration, and choreography. We will conclude the week on Friday with a final showcase where students will share their crafts and a dance demonstration following their morning class. This is a wonderful opportunity for students to continue developing their technique while having fun with their peers.

Students are encouraged to dress up according to the daily themes to enhance their experience. We ask that all costumes remain kid-appropriate and allow for full range of motion so that students can participate safely in all dance activities. Our daily themes this year are: Stars & Stripes & Spotlights, Summer Safari, Candy Land Carnival, and Little Olympians! 🎇🐘 🍭🏆

Today is the first day of our summer session!! Summer is a great time to build strength, solidify technique, and gain flexibility. Be sure to register your dancer for their classes today! We offer weekly classes, dance camp for Pre-Ballet & Ballet 1 (ages 5-9), and company intensive with for Ballet 4-7. We hope to see you in the studio this summer! ☀️

Since this is our last week of classes, we want to highlight and honor our graduating senior Kavya Singh. 
Kavya is one of our beloved dancers and started dancing at Radiance in 2017. Kavya has danced several lead roles including: Lead River in The Snow Queen, Russian Doll in Fairy Doll, Lead Henchmen in The Lion The Witch And The Wardrobe, and The Dance Instructor and Arabian Princess in Cinderella. 

Kavya will be graduating from Dublin High School with the Gael Scholar Award, the Gold Presidential Excellence Award, a California Scholarship Federation Lifetime Member, the Golden State Seal Merit Diploma, and the Rotary Clob of Dublin Foundation Scholarship.  Kavya will be attending California Polytechnic State University San Luis Obispo and majoring in Art and Design with a Graphic Design Concentration in the fall.

We are so proud of you Kavya!!! We cannot wait to see what this bright future has in store for you! ♥️

We are happy to have take our photos again this year! Roselyn is a professional ballerina and ballet teacher, as well as the owner of her own photography business. We have had the pleasure of having Roselyn guest teacher for our Summer Intensives in the past snd are glad to be partnering with her again!
