Most people won’t understand your work ethic.
They won’t understand your habits.
They won’t understand your prayer life.
They won’t understand the sacrifices you make when no one is watching.

Why?

Because they haven’t walked the road you’re walking.

They’ll call you obsessed.
They’ll call you a try-hard.
They’ll question why you keep showing up day after day.

Keep going anyway!

The people who criticize discipline are often the same people unwilling to pay the price for it.

Don’t waste your energy proving them wrong. Spend it becoming who God created you to be.

One day, the results will speak louder than the opinions ever did.

When that day comes, don’t boast. Don’t seek revenge. Give God the glory.

Thank Him for every opportunity.
Thank Him for every closed door that built your character.
Thank Him for every gift and talent He entrusted to you.

Then honor Him by never wasting those gifts.

Stay consistent.
Keep pushing.
The world doesn’t owe you understanding—but you owe God your best.

⏱️Timing is the separator⏱️

Hitters spend countless hours chasing perfect mechanics, but here’s the truth…

Mechanics don’t matter if your timing is off.

You can have the prettiest swing in baseball or fastpitch, but if you’re late, you’re beat. If you’re early, you’re fooled. The best swings in the world can’t overcome poor timing against good pitching.

That’s why timing should be trained every single day.

A great hitter isn’t just mechanically sound—they’re on time.

Load early to be ready early.

When you’re ready early, you don’t have to rush. You can see the ball longer, recognize pitches sooner, make better swing decisions, and swing when you want to swing—not when the pitcher forces you to.

Being early gives you options.
Being late leaves you with excuses.

Mechanics create efficiency.
Timing creates hitters.

Train your body to be ready before the ball gets there, and your mechanics will have a chance to work. Because the best swing in the world is worthless if it never arrives on time.

Load early. Be ready early. Swing when you want to.

Amazing.
Yet parents and coaches stop kids from playing and messing around like this all the time…
Let them be athletic and do the crazy stuff along with the boring stuff

Do you do any of these drills and which ones?

Just a few drills from the week with players.

Once you learn to never quit, it becomes a habit.

Champions aren’t the ones who never struggle…..they’re the ones who never stop.

Stay the course. Trust the process. Keep showing up. Create elite habits.

The greatest confidence you’ll ever have is knowing….

…….That God has a purpose for your life.

Every setback.
Every injury.
Every strikeout.
Every season of waiting.

None of it is random.

God isn’t just building a better athlete…
He’s building a stronger person.

When you understand the Theology of Joy, everything changes.

✝️ Jesus First – He is your identity.
❤️ Others Second – Serve your teammates.
🙋 Yourself Third – Grow the gifts God has given you.

When your priorities are in the right order, fear loses its grip.

You stop asking…
“Why is this happening to me?”

And start asking…
“God, what are You teaching me?”

Trust His plan.
Trust His timing.
Trust that He is working—even when you can’t see it.

Play with confidence.
Play with joy.
Play for His glory.

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.” — Proverbs 3:5-6

🙏 If this encouraged you, share it with an athlete who needs the reminder.

Comparison is the thief of all joy.

It’s hard not to compare.

You see someone hitting bombs.
You see someone getting recruited.
You see someone posting trophies, awards, offers, and highlights.

And before you know it, you’re questioning your own journey.

But here’s the truth…

Comparison doesn’t make you better. It makes you distracted.

You stop celebrating your progress.
You stop trusting your work.
You stop enjoying the game you once loved.

Every athlete has a different timeline.
A different story.
A different battle that no one else can see.

If you truly want to play free…
If you truly want to play with confidence…
If you truly want to play with joy…

Stop comparing yourself.

Compete against the only person you can control:

The athlete you were yesterday.

Win today’s workout.
Win today’s practice.
Win today’s mindset.

Because the greatest opponent you’ll ever face isn’t the player across the field.

It’s the voice in your head telling you you’re not enough.

Silence it with discipline.
Silence it with gratitude.
Silence it with consistent work.

You vs. You. Every single day.
