Thanks to everyone who came out and enjoyed the EIYSL event this weekend! The weather was perfect and the facility looked great thanks to our friends at Hasken Lawn Care and our volunteers. The Dubuque Soccer Club were great hosts and the games were fun throughout the event!
We’re just days away from the FIFA World Cup, and summer is here!

🚨🚨🚨🚨
A few notes / reminders as we begin the youth soccer season in full force tomorrow morning…
DSC has a record number of enrollment this spring. We have hundreds of parking spots available, as well as some green space, but please keep in mind a few things:
If you’re bringing grandma and grandpa, or extended family, please strongly consider carpooling together.
The traffic light at NW Arterial & JFK requires some patience, especially during peak arrival times. Plan accordingly! The city is aware of our schedule but some delays are still to be expected.
We have great neighbors at Steve’s Ace and Grandview Church. Please respect their space, especially this weekend for a couple of reasons… traffic at the hardware store goes up in the spring as we begin our outdoor projects. They’ll need their lot and it is not safe to cross JFK without the full crosswalk functioning.
ADDITIONALLY, the church lot and green space on their property are UNAVAILABLE tomorrow, but should be later this season. They’re laying a member of their congregation to rest and expect plenty of family and friends to attend. Please respect their parking space and DO NOT park there on 4/11/26.
Once on site remain patient and use extreme caution when pulling into and out of spaces. There’s a lot of little ones running around. If you choose to park down near fields 6 and 7 on the grass, the rain we’ve had lately means it is VERY soft down there. Please be aware of these conditions and proceed carefully.
It’s a World Cup year, and we’re excited to see all of our young soccer players falling in love with the sport- good luck everyone!

Making a difference at the soccer complex!!!
Big thanks to the University of Dubuque soccer teams and coaches for spending more time with us this fall as part of their “Make A Difference Day” last week.
Among other things, our parking lot has some new lines, our playground has some new stain, and our equipment area got a much needed overhaul/cleanup.
Thank you Spartans!!!!

Watching the runners chase their dreams on the cross country course is such a thrill! Watching them do so with a berth to the State meet on the line is even more entertaining! So much emotion and triumph out at the complex today - congratulations to all who qualified!!!!!

Wow! A BIG Thank You is in order for the Spartans Make A Difference Day help we had out at the fields today. Our flower beds around the concession stand look great, our restrooms got a deep clean, our playground area has been weeded out and prepped for fresh mulch, and our stretch of JFK is much cleaner with much of the overgrowth near our sign cleared out. The many hands of the University of Dubuque soccer teams, alongside DSC / UD ‘s Jason Berna and their coaches, DSCs Mike Trudeau, and Dbq Soccer Alliance board member Paul Hayes made for light work! We’re so grateful for your time out at the property today helping us make our space that much better.
