These guidelines were created, not only to maintain true martial arts tradition, but also to promote Springer's Martial Arts Academy as a cohesive group. Without high standards of conduct and discipline then disorder, chaos, disrespect and injuries would engulf the class making safe training and goal achievement impossible. Parents are welcome to stay and watch their child in class. Parents take an active role in assisting their child at home in studying their student handbook. Adults can adopt an exercise program that improves their physical fitness as well as learning effective self-defense techniques. Instructors teach martial arts safely, while maintaining a proud tradition and an enjoyable learning experience for our students. It is our hope that each student becomes a productive part of society. By providing strong interactive leadership, we set the example. We try to help each student become at peace with oneself. With that achieved, the student can learn to be at peace with others. We recognize the history and legacy our Instructors have given us, and accept the responsibility to pass this knowledge on to the next generation of martial artists.
